On September 21st, 2021 patent attorneys of Agency TRIA ROBIT Mr. Vladimir Anohin and Mr. Voldemars Osmans participated in the virtual conference “LES Scandinavia 50 years’ anniversary conference 2021” organized by Licensing Executives Society (LES) Scandinavia.
On 19th July 2021, Agency TRIA ROBIT celebrated the 30th anniversary of the company.
The celebration took place at Birini Castle, where together with the current and former employees of the company, we explored the history of the castle, competed with each other in the Legends game, looking for answers to questions about the Castle of Birini, its park and its former residents.
On 10 June 2021 the Saeima has adopted and on 28 June 2021 the President of the Republic of Latvia has announced amendments to the Customs Law of the Republic of Latvia, which introduce a new procedure for the application of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 (EC) No 608/2013 on customs enforcement of intellectual property rights and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 1383/2003 (hereinafter – Regulation 608/2013) at the national level.
On April 7, 2021, the patent attorney of Agency TRIA ROBIT Voldemars Osmans participated in the webinar “Patenting inventions in the European Patent Office (EPO)”, which was organized by the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine.
From March 23 to 24, 2021 professional patent attorney of Agency TRIA ROBIT Vladimirs Anohins participated in the virtual conference 2021 “What’s Next for Brands: A View from Europe Conference” organized by International Trademark Association.
Trademark Attorneys of Agency TRIA ROBIT – Ms. Alīna Bogdanoviča, Ms. Sabīne Ūdre and Mrs. Aļona Sivcova participated in training sessions organized by EUIPO from February 24 to 26 relating to the 20 million Euro SME Fund ‘The Ideas Powered for Business’.
On January 21, 2021, the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia adopted and on February 2, the President of the State announced amendments to the Civil Procedure Law, by which professional patent attorneys has been renewed in the right to represent their clients before the court of cassation instance (Senate of the Supreme Court) in industrial property disputes.

Bronislavs Baltrumovics, senior lawyer and trademark attorney of Agency TRIA ROBIT, helped Muhammad Azeem and LLC “Mishel Azeem and Company” successfully protect the company’s trademark from an attempt by a former partner to register a trademark in his name illegally and in bad faith.
