AIPPI Seminar on IP Protection in the Digital Environment

Latvian National Group of AIPPI together with Petersona Patents and Krodere & Judinska has organized a seminar on IP protection in the digital environment on 27th April 2012 in the hotel Bergs, which was intended for IP professionals.
The seminar focused on the law and practice concerning copyright and trademark protection on the internet and in other digital contexts, with a reference to the recent case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
The seminar was held by Dr. Jeremy Phillips, the editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice and the European Trade Mark Law Reports, but the presentations were held by Avv. Eleonora Rosati of Florence European University Institute (Italy) and Annsley Ward, solicitor at Allen & Overy LLP (London, UK).
The Patent Attorney Vladimir Anohin, Trademark Attorney Bronislavs Baltrumovics and attorney assistant Aleksejs Smirnovs of Agency TRIA ROBIT participated in the seminar and post-seminar discussion.
