The Republic of Poland accesses International Agreement

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) informed that on 2 April, 2009 the The Republic of Poland accessed to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs which will enter into force on 2 July 2009 in Poland.
The accession to the Agreement will allow companies, with a single application, to obtain protection of a design not only in a member state, but also in the countries which are members of the Geneva Act.
List of members of the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs is provided at the WIPO website http://www.wipo.int/hague/en/members/.
