Vladimir Anohin

| Vladimir Anohin is a European and Latvian patent, trademark and design attorney. In 1971, he graduated from the Bonch-Bruyevitch Communications University, St.Petersburg, Russia (Dipl.Eng.). He has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of IP protection since 1978. Vladimir worked in a number of IP departments of various companies. He became a lecturer in 1983 and received an award for his educational work from the head of the USSR Patent Office. After collapse of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Anohin founded Agency TRIA ROBIT in 1991, which became the leading firm in the region. He is a constant contributor to numerous international newsletters and often presented lectures at the international conferences, such as INTA and MARQUES. He is an active member of the INTA Membership Services Committee, INTA Law Firm Subcommittee, and ECTA Anti-Counterfeiting and Harmonization Committees. Since 2007, Vladimir has been a member of the International Correspondents team of INTA – “The Trademark Reporter”. He is a member of FICPI, AIPPI, AIPLA, INTA, ITMA, LES, PTMG, ECTA and ICC/CIB. Vladimir's clients include globally-known brands. As a result of a feedback from its clients, he is referred to as “reactive, proactive and pre-emptive” in The Legal 500 directory. Besides a wide expertise in patent prosecution (Dipl. Eng. degree in electronics engineering), the favorite aspect of his work lies in protecting the intellectual property rights of leading manufacturers of alcoholic beverages. He handled cases involving Stolychnaya, William Grant, San Miguel, Veuve Clicquot, Martini, Metaxa and many others in a number of jurisdictions. |
