Graduated from University of Latvia, Faculty of Law in 2000 with a diploma of lawyer. On 2003 graduated from Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Latvia with a diploma of master of public administration. Additionally acquired special education in industrial property field. A qualified Latvian Trademark Attorney since 2003 and European Trademark Attorney since 2004. Worked in the IP field since 1998. Active participant and lecturer at various conferences, seminars and other IP events. Specializes in litigation and enforcement of IP rights, foreign and domestic client’s customs seizures, licensing and domain names. A member of AIPPI and ECTA; a member of ECTA Design Committee and Professional Affairs Committee. A member of Latvian Patent Attorney Association (secretary of the Association since 2007); representative of Latvian Patent Attorney Association in the Expert group of Intellectual Property Council of Latvia since 2006.
