Graduated from the Police Academy of Latvia, where obtained a degree of the bachelor in the field of public law (2007), as well as graduated from the faculty of law of university "Turība", having obtained a degree of the Master of Law (2009). Professional Trademark Attorney (2010).

Started to work for Agency in 2005 as the assistant of the patent attorney, engaging in the protection of the intellectual property rights in customs and police authorities of Latvia. Deals with the consultancy services in the area of trademark law (infringements, protection and enforcement of rights in judicial, customs and police authorities in Latvia, Russia and the European Union, as well as the disputes, concerning Internet domain names. 

Regularly participates in the international conferences (INTA, ECTA) and acts as the lecturer in educational seminars on protection of intellectual property rights for customs authorities of Latvia.
