Since the Government of the Republic of Latvia has introduced an emergency situation in the country due to COVID-19 and order to stay safe as far as possible our office has completely moved to work from home.
Anyway please rest assured that our services will continue as usual and we continue to timely provide services and respond to all e-mails, observing all deadlines and instructions.
This event is cancelled for now due to decision of the Government of Estonia to declare the emergency situation and temporary ban for all public events due to the worldwide pandemic of Coronavirus COVID-19.
On February 6, 2020, the Saeima (the Parliament) of the Republic of Latvia in third reading approved the new “Trademark Law”, which will replace the previous law “On Trademarks and Geographical Indications”, which has been in force in Latvia since July 15, 1999.
On 12 June 2019 the Trademark Attorneys of Agency TRIA ROBIT Ms Alina Bogdanovica and Mrs Alona Sivcova have successfully graduated the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design (ETMD) Education Programme in Alicante, Spain that was specially designed to accommodate the training needs of intellectual property practitioners dealing with the registration and prosecution of European Union trade marks (EUTM) and Community designs (RCD).
